Installing a toner cartridge seems simple, but missteps (like leaving plastic tabs on) can ruin print quality. Here’s how to fit our factory-refurbished toner cartridges correctly:
- Unbox carefully:Peel off the outer plastic, then remove the orange protective tab (this is the #1 mistake—leaving it on blocks toner flow).
- Shake gently:Hold the cartridge side-to-side 5 times (our refurbished units are pre-filled, so this spreads toner evenly).
- Access the cartridge slot:Open the printer’s front cover and slide out the old cartridge (dispose of it per local recycling rules).
- Insert the new cartridge:Align the cartridge’s grooves with the printer’s rails—push until you hear a firm click (don’t wiggle it).
- Close & test:Shut the cover and run a test page—if the print is crisp (no streaks), you’re done.
Our refurbished cartridges use OEM-grade toner, so they work with your printer’s sensor (no “compatibility error” pop-ups). For bulk orders, we include a quick-reference cheat sheet for your team.
