Faded text or uneven color coverage often traces back to a worn transfer roller. Our refurbished rollers (factory-cleaned and tested) are easy to install:
- Access the roller:Open the printer’s front cover, remove the toner cartridge, and locate the rubber transfer roller (it’s usually above the paper tray).
- Release the old roller:Press the two plastic tabs on either end of the roller—lift it straight up.
- Clean the area:Wipe the roller’s slot with a dry cloth (dust causes poor transfer).
- Install the refurbished roller:Set our roller into the slot, press down until the tabs click, then reinsert the toner cartridge.
- Calibrate:Run a “color calibration” (find it in your printer’s settings) to ensure even coverage.
We’ve tested our transfer rollers on 50+ printer models—they work just as well as OEM parts, but cost 35% less. For regular maintenance, we recommend replacing rollers every 15,000 prints.
